What We are Doing Now

Day 1 of “One Day at a Time”

What a day we had at El Mesias United Methodist Church in Philadelphia!  Eleven eager workers arrived at 9:00 AM to empty preschool rooms and prepare to lay Pergo-style flooring in two rooms.  Two teams were formed to measure, cut, and install flooring.  Karen Lyon provided a delicious lunch for the group.  The furniture and toys were returned to their original locations for school on Monday.

Did you miss being a part of our team?

Helping Our Neighbors by Offering Relief

Our first project is in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

HONOR Project 2020 Covid-19 Relief

We are currently raising money to assist those that have been affected by Covid-19 Pandemic and the economic complications.  A committee reviews any requests and distributes money as it is received.

  • We helped a woman in Philadelphia sustain her small business.
  • We sent funds to Ramon Celis in Cancun, Mexico, a pastor that we have worked with for over 30 years. Jobs for many residents are tied to the tourist industry and they now have no income or government support.  Our initial contribution provided food bags to families and assisted a widow with three children and no work.
  • We sent funds to a children’s home in Honduras where we have worked for many years.
  • We distributed grocery store gift cards through the Zion Baptist Church in Ambler, PA.

Please consider donating so we can continue . . .
